The Santa Fe Mayor’s Awards for Excellence in the Arts are an annual celebration honoring individuals and organizations whose creativity, leadership, and innovation enrich the city’s cultural life. The awards reflect the City’s belief that arts and culture are essential civic infrastructure, shaping vibrant neighborhoods, preserving heritage, expanding educational opportunities, and fostering community connections.

The awards recognize artists, educators, organizations, innovators, and arts leaders whose work has a profound cultural impact. Nominations are open to the public, reviewed by the Arts & Culture Department and the Santa Fe Arts Commission, and culminate in the Mayor’s selection of honorees.
